Online Data Backup & Recovery

Online computer backup provides an affordable, low maintenance, offsite solution for consumers and businesses. There is no media to change and no hardware to maintain. For businesses, it is a great option as part of a complete backup strategy. Features include:

online backups

  • Secure Off-Site Storage - A redundant copy of all of your critical information is stored in a secure data center. If your system crashes or your laptop is stolen, your important information is still safe and easily restored at any time day or night.
  • Unprecedented Data Integrity - From the moment it’s backed up until moments or years later when it’s restored, your data is continually ensured that every single bit is 100% correct and intact.
  • No Hardware to Fail or Maintain - No bad media, broken tape drives, misplaced tapes or faulty DVD drives. Your secure backup process is completely software driven and your backup is stored off-site without the hassle of putting tapes or DVDs in another location.
  • Automated Process - No operator error or forgotten backups. You even receive automatic reminders via email about backup and disk usage status.
  • HIPAA Compliance - Online backup supports HIPAA compliance through automated off-site data protection with on-demand recovery, while ensuring strict data security and confidentiality.

Image-Based Backup with Acronis

Image-based backups are often described as a “bare metal backup” because it backs up physical disks at the volume level. In other words, a true disk image is an exact copy of an entire physical disk or disk partition.

Full bit identical images retain deleted files or lost partitions that have not yet been over-written. All file, file-system, and partition attributes are preserved. Bit identical images facilitate the ability to restore files and partitions to the exact same sectors as the originals.

Advantages of Image Backup Systems

Acronis Backup

  • Allows for rapid full system restores including the operating system on the same or very similar hardware.
  • Speed and simplicity is unsurpassed when working with large numbers of files.
  • Image formats can be mounted and used like any other drive making accessing backed up files a breeze.
  • Performing image backups is much less resource intensive than file backups.
